Catholicism Isn't Christianity: Roman Catholics Worship Mary "Mediatrix of All Graces"

Praised be Jesus Christ!

[This is Part 2 of the Catholicism Isn't Christianity Series]. The usurpers of the position of Jesus Christ as Head of the Church and King over all men, namely, the "Popes" of the Roman Catholic Church, consistently teach blasphemous, damnable heresies concerning Mary the mother of Jesus. Truly, by their demonic dogmas, doctrines and fables, they make their followers twice the children of Hell that they are (Matthew 23:15). The doctrine of Mary, Mediatrix of All Graces is one such sensual, diabolical, man-made, hideous doctrine taught by multiple Antichrists (aka "Popes"). In essence, this doctrine teaches that Mary dispenses each and every heavenly grace of God, including the grace and benefits of eternal salvation and redemption obtained by Jesus Christ for us in His Death and Resurrection. While Jesus is the source of all these blessings, Mary is the Mediatrix: meaning, she dispenses them to us. According to the "Popes", and millions upon millions of Roman Catholics, without Mary’s mediation and dispensation, we cannot have the grace of salvation, forgiveness of sins, gifts of the Holy Spirit, wisdom, light, blessing or any other heavenly good. Even though James 1:17 says that every good and perfect gift comes from the Father of lights, in whom is no variableness or shadow of turning, Roman Catholics claim they come from Mary. How stupid and arrogant it is to fight against the Word of God!

Any truly born again believer can immediately detect the blasphemy and wickedness of such a doctrine. But let’s hear some of the self-anathematized "Popes" in their own words so that it becomes very clear to us as to what they actually teach, and what modern Roman Catholics actually believe. Pius IX (9th), in his encyclical Ubi primum, February 2, 1849 taught: “…God has committed to Mary the treasury of all good things, in order that everyone may know that through her are obtained every hope, every grace, and all salvation.” Leo XIII (13th) in his encyclical Octobri mense, September 22, 1891 stated: “With equal truth can it be affirmed that, by the will of God, nothing of the immense treasure of every grace which the Lord has accumulated, comes to us except through Mary…. How great are the wisdom and mercy revealed in this design of God…. Mary is our glorious intermediary; she is the powerful Mother of the omnipotent God…. This design of such dear mercy realized by God in Mary and confirmed by the testament of Christ (Jn 19:26-27) was understood from the beginning and accepted with the utmost joy by the holy Apostles and earliest believers. It was also the belief and teachings of the venerable Fathers of the Church. All the Christian peoples of every age accepted it unanimously…. There is no other reason for this than divine faith.”

There are many more quotes, but let’s hear a final one from Pius X (10th) in his encyclical Ad Diem Illum Laetissimum, February 2, 1904: “By this union of will and suffering between Christ and Mary, “she merited to become in a most worthy manner the Reparatrix of the lost world” and consequently, the Dispensatrix of all gifts which Jesus acquired for us through His death and blood. Indeed, we do not deny that the distribution of these gifts belongs by strict and proper right to Christ…. Yet… it was granted to the august Virgin to be together “with her only-begotten Son the most powerful Mediatrix and conciliatrix of the whole world.” So Christ is the source.… Mary, however, as St. Bernard justly remarks, is the channel, or she is the neck by which the Body is united to the Head and the Head sends power and strength through the Body… “For she is the neck of our Head, through which all spiritual gifts are communicated to His Body.”

The Second Vatican Council, once again, (under the pontificates of John XXIII (23rd) and Paul VI (6th) referred to the Mother of God’s authentic title as “Mediatrix” and her role as intercessor of the graces for eternal salvation: “Taken up to heaven she did not lay aside this saving office but by her manifold intercession continues to bring us the gifts of eternal salvation…. Therefore the Blessed Virgin is invoked in the Church under the title…Mediatrix.”

After hearing all of this, isn’t it obvious that Mary is equal to the Father, the Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit in the mind of Roman Catholics? They claim she isn’t, while obviously teaching that she is. I fear for the souls of Roman Catholics because of the blasphemous heresies they profess and believe. It is pure deception to claim that such teaching was held by the Apostles and early Christians. That such a doctrine is a matter of Divinely revealed truth that one must hold to by faith in order to be a true Christian, when it completely contradicts the teaching of Scripture, is a damnable and outright lie of Satan. It is plain from the teaching of Sacred Scripture that the doctrine of Mary, Mediatrix of All Graces departs altogether from the pure word of God and the doctrine of Christ. It leads countless souls far, far away from Christ and into perdition. Let’s dig into what the Scripture has to say in response to such false doctrine.

In response to Pius IX, who taught that through Mary is obtained all hope, grace, and salvation, Scripture clearly replies: In Christ Jesus is all hope, grace and salvation. The Law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ (John 1:17). Grace and truth did not come through or by Mary, but through Jesus Christ. Our Lord Jesus Christ said that those who believe in Him and are baptized shall be saved (Mark 16:15-20). Simple as that. Repentance towards God and faith in Jesus Christ is needed for salvation, and baptism is unto Jesus Christ, not unto Mary. Mary has no part in these things. 1 Timothy 2:5 says: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave Himself a ransom for all”. The only mediator between God and man is Jesus Christ our blessed Savior and Lord. Christ mediates between the Father and man, NOT Mary. If there is only One Mediator, as Scripture declares, there cannot be two. Isn’t that obvious? Acts 4:12 says “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is One Name (Jesus Christ) under Heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” And Romans 10:13: “… whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved”. Notice how these Scriptures proclaim direct access to the salvation of Jesus Christ without any intermediary, including Mary, the supposed Mediatrix of all Graces?

In response to the Second Vatican Council, which declared that Mary has a “saving office” in which as Mediatrix she supposedly brings us the “gifts of eternal salvation”, the Scripture clearly replies in Romans 5:1-2: “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” Notice that through faith in Jesus Christ we have peace with God, and that through JESUS CHRIST we have access by faith into the grace of God. Mary’s mediation isn’t needed AT ALL for peace with God, grace, or to acquire eternal salvation. Again, Our Saviour said “I Am the Resurrection, and the Life: he who believes in Me, though he die, he shall live.” (John 11:25). To declare that Mary is a Saviour “together with” Jesus completely usurps Christ Jesus as the Only Saviour of the world. 1 Timothy 4:10 says that “… the living God is the Saviour of all men, specially those who believe”. Mary has no “saving office”. What blasphemy!

According to Bernard of Clairvaux and Pius X (10th), we receive every spiritual gift from Mary. According to Scripture, the Holy Spirit is the One who apportions spiritual gifts to each Christian as He pleases (1 Corinthians 12:11)… NOT MARY. According to the vile heresy of Pius X, the conviction of sin, righteousness and judgment, which lead to godly sorrow, repentance and faith unto salvation, must also come through the dispensation of Mary. According to Scripture, the Holy Ghost convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgment (John 16:8-9). According to Pius X, Jesus isn’t able to dispense His Own free gift of salvation! Poor Jesus! He needs His mother to do it for Him! What utter blasphemy. In Acts 16:30-33, the jailer of Paul and Silas asked them: “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” Paul replied, “You must receive the grace of eternal salvation through the mediation of Mary the mother of Jesus! Only through her intercession can you be saved!” Wait… Sorry. I read the verse wrong. He said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved— you and your household.” See, the impious arch-heretic Pius X, along with all his fellow Antichrists, have added to the Gospel of Our Lord Jesus Christ, and have brought upon themselves divine condemnation (Galatians 1:8-9).

According to such blasphemy, Mary is the Advocate of all men, and through her intercessions and prayers and mediation we can receive the grace of Christ’s forgiveness and love and mercy.  John the Apostle taught us that if any man sins, “we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the Righteous: and He is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.” Who is our Advocate with the Father? Mary? No. Jesus Christ our Savior and Lord. The heresiarch “Popes” teach that Mary is our hope and life, while Isaiah the Prophet says that the Gentile nations will place all their hope in Jesus Christ the Messiah, and that Jesus is the glory of the children of Israel (Luke 2:32; Matthew 12:21). The heresiarch “Popes” declare that hope for eternal life comes through Mary, while the Apostle Paul teaches that God Himself fills us with all hope and joy and peace in believing by the power of the Holy Spirit (Romans 15:13) — we abound in hope for the glory of God and eternal life through the Holy Spirit, not Mary.

I could go on and on with countless other quotes of the blasphemous doctrine of devils that the diabolical Magisterium of the Catholic Church teaches concerning Mary, Mediatrix of All Graces. But honestly I’ve had enough. I can’t stomach it. It is a repugnant, filthy doctrine from the bowels of Hell. It is so sad to see Catholics defend such a doctrine out of love for their false religion. Roman Catholics believe that they belong to the one and only true Church that Jesus founded and that all of their dogmas and doctrines come from God. Every false religion and cult teaches the same thing. It is much easier for people to align themselves with falsehood and feel safe in the multitude of others who believe the same lie than to confront the truth and have to leave everything they know behind. It is much easier to trust in a "Pope" who declares himself to be Christ on the Earth and follow his lead than to follow the one and only Jesus Christ and the doctrine of His Apostles revealed in Sacred Scripture because following Jesus has a cost attached to it. This false doctrine of Mary Mediatrix of all Graces is a doctrine highly esteemed by millions of men, but in reality it is an abomination to God (Luke 16:15). The entirety of the teaching of the “Popes” and all who profess this doctrine is completely extra-biblical. The only basis for this teaching is found in their depraved and convoluted minds and in the demons who seduce them. I will trust in the Word of God instead of the doctrine and traditions of men. Will you? Until next time, remember, God loves you! Maranatha
